Healing in the comfort of your own home
Serving Seattle with mobile massage combining intuitive, nurturing touch with anatomical knowledge for a unique therapeutic experience.
My education began before massage school, learning how to communicate and connect with diverse people as a restaurant manager. During school, I learned about the positive impact that connection has on the outcome of treatment - the power of listening.
After massage school, my education continued, learning the foundations of Precision Neuromuscular Therapy. This approach encourages curiosity. There are hundreds of ways to treat each muscle, but this method emphasizes why to treat a muscle.
My massage technique involves gentle myofascial holds, pin & stretch, trigger point therapy, kneading, and tapotement strokes. It is a unique style that does not use any emollient. The result is a therapeutic approach that targets the source of pain without putting you into more pain in the process.
I have also been learning about the mind-body connection through an energetic and spiritual lens recently. I have been incorporating Reiki techniques, blending them with massage to produce a hands-on energy therapy massage that cleanses and refreshes chi in your areas of pain. This treatment is optional, but there is always some energy exchange with any form of touch.

PNMT is a therapeutic approach that works to rectify the underlying cause(s) of musculoskeletal pain through soft tissue manipulation. It takes bone alignment into account, requiring an understanding of how soft tissue dysfunction affects the bony framework of your body. Clients see the best results when they also change their lifestyles away from what caused or worsened the condition in the first place. There are myriad ways, and the only right answer is the one that works for you. Examples include stretching, yoga, physical therapy, talk therapy, dance, personal training, sleep conditioning, and reconnecting with nature.

Energy work acknowledges that we have an energetic body as well as a physical body, and that the energetic body is the blueprint for how the physical body is built and maintained. The core component of the energetic body is the electromagnetic field we emit. The heart’s field can be measured up to 10 feet away with current technology. Chakras and meridians emit smaller, but measurable fields. Our bodies transmit photons through our fascia constantly, which makes us glow from our hands and feet, observable with highly sensitive cameras in total darkness. Auras can also be photographed. Energy work focuses on healing some part of this energetic anatomy, which is reflected into the physical body.

Right now, I simply do Reiki locally in the areas that I am massaging. Using my meridians, I channel stagnant chi away, and draw in fresh chi. It is a hands-on approach that I incorporate primarily during a myofascial or trigger point hold.
